Role and Team Reporting to the Inspection Manager or another designated manager, you will be responsible for resolving vehicle representation differences between buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities
Inspection Oversight: Oversee the quality and throughput of vehicle inspections to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports. Pipeline Management: Actively manage the WIP (Work-In-Progress) pipeline to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the inspection and arbitration process. Arbitration Resolution: Resolve differences between buyers and sellers arising from representations made on the auction block, including mechanical, cosmetic, or disclosure issues.
Hands-on Quality Control: Conduct hands-on vehicle inspections when needed to verify vehicle condition and ensure high-quality standards are maintained. Customer Liaison: Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external customers, providing prompt and courteous service regarding arbitration transactions and dispute resolution.

Third-Party Coordination: Coordinate third-party inspections as required and maintain accurate record-keeping for all arbitrated units. Reporting Documentation: Maintain precise records of arbitration outcomes and provide status updates on the inspection pipeline to leadership. Safety Compliance: Ensure all company policies, safety protocols, and state/federal laws are followed at all times.
Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager. Skills and Attributes Technical/Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and the ability to perform basic diagnostic determinations. Conflict Resolution: Exceptional ability to negotiate and resolve disputes between parties in a professional and unbiased manner.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret inspection reports and auction rules. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with buyers, sellers, and internal teams. Organizational Excellence: Proven ability to manage a high-volume WIP pipeline and multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred Previous automotive auction, inspection, or mechanical experience required.
