The engineer will work closely with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and validation teams throughout the product development lifecycle, supporting architecture definition, schematic design, PCB development, hardware integration, troubleshooting, and technical problem resolution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience within the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier experience preferred). Experience designing and developing embedded electronic hardware systems.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles, testing methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques. Understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and automotive industry standards. Strong understanding of system-level and component-level hardware design.
Familiarity with automotive communication networks and protocols including Ethernet (ETH), CAN, LIN, and LVDS. Experience with thermal management considerations for ECU and embedded electronic designs. Ability to participate in and lead schematic reviews, PCB layout reviews, and design evaluations.
Knowledge of modern automotive hardware platforms, embedded processing systems, connectivity technologies, and interface architectures. Understanding of ADAS, Infotainment Systems, Zonal Architectures, and Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) concepts. Ability to support multiple technical domains is considered an advantage.
Experience with Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) analysis is preferred. Prior experience in hardware architecture or system architecture roles is a plus. Required Technical Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design.
Experience using Altium Designer is highly preferred. Experience designing high-complexity, multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs). Strong understanding of PCB design rules, constraints, and best practices.
